Abridge is HMRC-recognised MTD bridging software for sole traders, landlords, and agents who file from Excel or Google Sheets.
Who we are
Abridge is a product of Abridge Tax Ltd, registered in England and Wales (No. 16092999). We build software that lets spreadsheet users comply with Making Tax Digital without switching to full accounting packages.
Who Abridge is for
- Sole traders who track income and expenses in Excel or Google Sheets
- Landlords with rental records in spreadsheets
- Accountancy practices with clients who refuse to leave spreadsheets
We are not right for everyone. Complex payroll, inventory, or multi-entity groups may need full accounting software — and that is fine.
HMRC recognition
Abridge is recognised by HMRC for Making Tax Digital. Our bridging software meets the technical requirements to submit quarterly updates and Final Declarations for Income Tax Self Assessment.
Security and privacy
We connect to HMRC using OAuth — we never see your HMRC login password. Spreadsheet data is transmitted securely for submission. Read our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling, retention, and your rights.
